Auto Dealerships
Buyers who are already in the market. Sent by someone they trust.
Pipley builds relationships with the insurance agents, body shops, and lenders whose customers need a vehicle right now, and books those conversations for your team. One dealership per territory. Nothing for you to manage.
Outbound lead generation for auto dealerships is the practice of building referral relationships with the local professionals whose customers are already in-market for a vehicle, rather than bidding on third-party leads. The highest-value targets are independent insurance agents handling total-loss claims, body shops and mechanics quoting repairs that exceed a vehicle's value, and credit unions with pre-approved borrowers. The result is a referral stream the dealership owns rather than rents.
The referral map
Who actually sends this work.
Most companies in this industry have two or three relationships that feed them steadily. Those were usually an accident. We map the whole category and build the rest of it on purpose.
Independent insurance agents
Agents settling total-loss claims have a customer with a check and no car. That customer needs a replacement within days.
The agent's job is done when the client is whole again. A dealer who makes that easy gets called every time.
Body shops & independent mechanics
Shops quoting a repair that costs more than the vehicle is worth are having the trade-in conversation already.
A shop that has to deliver bad news would rather hand over a solution than lose the relationship.
Credit unions & local lenders
Loan officers issue pre-approvals to buyers who have not picked a dealership yet.
The lender wants the loan funded. Pointing the member somewhere reliable closes their file faster.
What we learned the hard way
Why most outbound in this industry fails.
Three failure modes account for nearly every stalled campaign we have seen. Each one is fixable, and each one is invisible until it has already burned a domain.
-
Competing on third-party leads
Marketplace leads reach several dealers at once, so the conversation starts as a price fight with a shopper who has four other quotes open. Referral introductions arrive pre-trusted and single-threaded. Outbound that builds referrers is slower to start and worth far more per relationship.
-
Enterprise mail gateways
Large national firms run gateways like Mimecast, Barracuda, and Proofpoint that reject cold mail no matter how clean the list is. Bounce rates climb, the sending domain takes the damage, and the campaign is dead before anyone reads a message. The fix is targeting independent firms of roughly one to fifty people, which is where the referral relationship was always going to come from anyway.
-
Sending from your real domain
Outreach from your primary domain puts your actual business email at risk. One bad campaign can affect whether your quotes and invoices reach the inbox. We send only from separate domains built and warmed for the purpose, never yours.
How it works
Four steps, and you run none of them.
Map
We define your territory and build a verified list of the right people inside it.
Write
AI personalizes every message to the individual recipient, in your voice. Never a generic blast.
Send
Dedicated warmed domains send and follow up automatically. Your primary domain is never touched.
Book
Qualified replies land as meetings on your calendar. You show up and build the relationship.
Live in about 14 days. Most of that is the inbox warmup that protects deliverability, and it runs in the background while we build everything else.

Questions
Good to know.
Does this replace our CRM?
No. Pipley runs upstream of your CRM and feeds it. Whether you use Tekion, VinSolutions, DealerSocket, or anything else, we fill it with qualified appointments rather than asking you to switch systems.
Are you emailing car shoppers directly?
No. Pipley does not contact consumers. We reach the insurance agents, shops, and lenders whose customers already need a vehicle, which is compliant and converts far better than consumer cold email.
We have multiple stores. How does that work?
Multi-store groups are priced per territory with volume discounts. Each store gets its own campaign and its own local list, and you get exclusive rights to every territory on the agreement, reported in one monthly readout.
Do you work with more than one company in my market?
No. Pipley sells one client per category, per territory. A competitor cannot buy in behind you, and every meeting booked in your territory goes to you.
Will this hurt our email reputation?
No. We send from separate domains we set up for you, never your primary domain, so your real email is always protected.
What if it does not work?
We are month to month after the first 90 days, with no long contract. We optimize every month and you can leave anytime.
Do we have to do anything?
Very little. We handle the build and the sending. You take the meetings that land on your calendar.
Own your territory before someone else does.
